      What Are the Artwork Image Standards for Flexographic Printing?

      How to Prepare Your Images for Flexographic Printing

      ARTWORK IMAGES NEED TO COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURES:

      -Include images, rather than embedding them in artwork, to meet printing tolerances and requirements

      -Crop and scale images within their original application, rather than reducing or enlarging them after an import

      -For image bleeds, allow 1/8 of an inch extra space on each applicable side 

      SAMPLE LINE WIDTHS:

      -Flexographic printing requires a minimum of a 1/2 point line width for positive images, and a 1 point line width for reverse images
